Some Simple rules to make your class the best that it can be!

• One dog per person
• There can be more than one person per dog... one person works the dog at a time & you can switch anytime during class (whenever it's wanted or needed). We want the whole family to learn!
• Please do not be late as it is not fair to the other students
• Happy attitudes & smiling faces
• 3-5 different kinds of really motivating treats
• Clicker (we have them) & or marker word ("Yip!" works well)
• Comfortable clothes - class is inside & outside
• Shoes with secure flat heels (tennis shoes work great). No flip flops, clogs, crocs or high heels.
• If your dog has not successfully completed a level, please take that level again until successful. The foundations need to be learned before going on.
• No choker (chain), shock (electric) or prong (pinch) collars permitted. No Flexi (retractable box) or chain leads permitted.

Our classes are based on "Train & Play" which utilizes off-leash work as well as on-leash...

if your dog is reactive towards people or dogs (non-stop barking, or growling whenever he looks at or hears the other dogs or people), then these group classes are not for you.

• For dogs 16 weeks and older
• Week 1 is mandatory and with NO DOGS
• 1 hour each week for 6 sessions (same day/time each week) 
• Clicker Optional, Lure & Reward
• Classes are 6 weeks
• 3-6 dogs in class

 In this class we have FUN! by starting the foundations of:

• Attention (focus on handler)
• Sit
• Down
• Stand
• Settle on a mat
• Come
• Wait

• Heel (and the first level of off-leash heeling discussed)
• Loose lead walking
• Leave-It
• Self Control

We discuss alot of things about dog behavior & what needs to be accomplished to reach your goals.

Classes fill up fast, and students have to wait for their spot. We recomend a Private Lesson to get started. You and your dog will have better success in classes if you do this and begin training NOW!

Want to learn off-leash Obedience? Then this class is for you! This class is to teach you how to REALLY have a Canine Good Citizen...

In this class we are adding more cues & continuing having FUN! by building on the previous levels and the following behaviors which are tested by an AKC Evaluator:

1. Accepting a Friendly Stranger
2. Sitting Politely for Petting
3. Apperance and Grooming
4. Out for a Walk
5. Walking Through a Crowd
6. Sit and Down on Cue & Staying in Place
7. Coming When Called
8. Reaction to Another Dog
9. Reaction to Distractions
10. Supervised Separation

Fee $47.50 per session (plus expenses)

• For dogs that have completed Beginner 1 or Train & Play for Family Manners and have their CGC
• 60-90 minute sessions held around town (usually on Wednesdays @ 10:30am)
• Clicker used in this class (optional) 
• Classes meet once a week, come as many times as you need to prepare for the Public Access Test (fee is per session)
• 2-4 dogs in class
• All classes taught by Jeanine Brawn, CPDT-KA
